Doctors Trust Celeste Lewis When it Comes to Treatment

Celeste Lewis
It is certain that, Celeste Lewis has a lot of experience to draw upon in her position as a nurse. She has worked hard to get to where she is these days. At one time, Celeste worked for the Orleans Parish Prison, where she handled psychiatric evaluations and routine follow-up psychiatric medication management appointments for general population inmates. At the time, doctors trusted her enough to allow her to monitor the lab values of patients when it came to psychiatric medications. They also allowed her to handle crisis interventions, and to evaluate the status of acutely homicidal and suicidal inmates. That is not something that a run-of-the-mill nurse usually gets to do.

One thing that makes Celeste Lewis different is that she has as much experience and skill that a patient might need for effective treatment. She not only works closely with doctors, but she also pays a crucial role in a lot of the decision-making that goes along with patient treatment. Not only that, but doctors take her constructive input to the treatment process into account as they treat patients.

Celeste Lewis has demonstrated that she us capable of providing care that is culturally sensitive, respectful, courteous and thoughtful. She has also shown that she is capable of adapting to the constant changes present in virtually any clinical environment. That can include serving as an active member of the Medical Staff Organization and participating in client-centered treatment planning. Her education is also impressive, starting with the Bachelor's Degree she earned in 1998 from the University of New Orleans and culminating in the M.S. in Nursing in Psychiatric/ Mental Health Nursing that she received from the Vanderbilt University School Of Medicine in 2011. She has been licensed in Louisiana as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse since 2011, but she has been a licensed Registered Nurse since 2004.
